The new Health Sciences Complex on the STAR Campus at the University of Delaware held its first official event to commemorate the completion of the new building and to fill a time capsule that will be opened in 50 years.
Included in the capsule are ideas and predictions by current students and faculty to what healthcare and the STAR campus may look like in 50 years.
“Our facility at the STAR Campus is going to create a new model for the integration of clinically based research, inter-professional education, and the delivery of clinical services…We want the entire community to join the conversation and help us predict — and shape — health care history.”
– Kathleen Matt. Dean of the College of Health Sciences at the University of Delaware
