A Wilmington landmark is getting a facelift. The former Alico building adjacent to the New Castle County Courthouse will receive interior and exterior renovations that include a striking new two-story glazed entry, revamped lobby, modernized elevators, landscaping, lighting improvements, and new contemporary exterior metal panels.
Several floors are now available for new tenants in the 180,000 square foot building that sits atop a 500 car parking garage.
The completely redesigned lobby provides space for retail tenants including a cafe with access to an outdoor plaza. Contemporary wood paneling and glass mosaic tiles modernize the space while the double height glazed vestibule will fill the lobby with natural light.
“We are excited about the revitalization and opportunities available so close to both the state and local courthouses.”
