The previous uses of Alison Hall included wet laboratories, classrooms, offices, and a vacated preschool teaching lab. These have been replaced with newly designed classrooms, faculty offices, and specialty areas as required by the six different departments that utilize the new building.

The renovation included  all new interior walls, lighting and ceilings, mechanical systems, roof, floor and wall finishes, and new rest room provisions. All of these elements were at the end of their life cycle in the current building. The renovated building will meet the University’s growing technology needs, while  incorporating green initiatives.
