Tevebaugh Associates recently teamed with Sikora Wells Appel on the renovation of the Delaware Technical Community College’s Stanton Campus courtyard. The space was redesigned through a consensus-based planning process with the college to create several valuable outdoor congregation and collaboration spaces.
Casual seating areas, outdoor classrooms, a large shade canopy, and a rain garden now breath new life into a previously under-utilized outdoor space.
Additionally, the new space provides an elegant setting for the College to host evening events. Dr. Mark T. Brainard’s inaugural week closing reception, pictured below, served as the courtyard’s grand opening event.
Tevebaugh is grateful for the opportunity to work with DTCC as they celebrate their 50th year of delivering excellence and changing lives, and we are proud of the collaborative efforts made by all of the team members that were a part of the project. In addition to Sikora Wells Appel, the success of the project was also thanks to the efforts of Duffield Associates, Furlow Associates, The Lighting Practice, and Whiting-Turner.
