OUR CULTURE
By trade, we’re a team of architects, planners, designers, and managers. But beyond the resumes and job descriptions, the Tevebaugh Architecture studio is a collaborative team of individual leaders with unique talents. At our core, we’re artists, makers, modifiers, dreamers, doers, and designers.
OUR STUDIO
We strive to use our talents to continually seek improvement for ourselves, our studio, our clients, and our community. Our collaborative leadership approach to design means that we’re a cohesive team of contributors, seeking innovative and unique solutions to complex problems, while inspiring others in our pursuit of successful design solutions.
OUR STUDIO
The Wilmington office is an open studio environment designed to give each member of the studio inspiring, pristine views of the Alapocas State Park and the Brandywine River. The success of our studio work is built upon each individual contributing their own leadership in the pursuit of meaningful design solutions for our clients. That means you can often find a small group of us huddled over a design problem at a desk, or working through a planning session together in one of our conference rooms.
That collaborative energy is also evident in our studio in Center City Philadelphia, where we enjoy the vibrancy and energy of our neighbors in our coworking studio.
OUR STUDIO
We stay connected between the Philadelphia and Wilmington studios through video conferences every Monday morning to discuss work planning solutions.
OUR STUDIO
The Tevebaugh studios also get together on a monthly basis for social events that include our annual BBQ on the Brandywine, our Holiday party, and some friendly competition with design professional neighbors throughout the Wilmington office building.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
We strongly believe that effective leaders find individual paths to success through continual self-improvement and consistent immersion. One of the ways that Tevebaugh Architecture supports individuals in their professional growth is through our well-rounded benefits programs for professional development and lifelong learning.
In support of our team members pursuing licensure, we develop individualized solutions that include the time and resources necessary for mentorship and growth, the time needed to take the exams, and the expense of licensure.
For individuals who enjoy the benefits of professional licensure, we support the pursuit of lifelong learning through a flexible yearly stipend that can be utilized in the pursuit or maintenance of licensure and professional development.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Community support is a critical component of the Tevebaugh culture. Our team members enjoy the resources and flexibility to be community leaders, and are encouraged to contribute their unique talents to grow our outreach programs.
Our participation in community outreach is as diverse and unique as our employees, who currently show their dedication to our neighbors by: contributing to the Delaware Architecture, Construction, and Engineering Mentoring Program; serving as guest jurors for local design school presentations; conducting pro-bono design projects; and engaging students and clients in the design process of our work, with a special focus on our educational work.
In addition to serving as jurors for local design schools, we invite design students to be a part of each process of our academic projects at their campus. We include students in schematic design, construction document review, and construction tours. And we invest in the young design community by hosting opportunities for summer internships and employment during the pursuit of technical degrees.
